National Award Winner Barrister M. Rafiqul Islam Chowdhury started practicing law in 2001 in Bangladesh after graduating with a Bachelor of Law Degree. Before joining the law profession, he obtained a degree in Master of Social Science in Political Science. Later, he successfully completed Head II and Head III of the Qualified Lawyers Transfer Test (QLTT) from Oxford Brooks University, UK. Barrister M. R. I. Chowdhury also achieved a Master of Laws (LL.M) Degree from an American Bar Association-approved law school in California, USA. Mr. Chowdhury is an enrolled Barrister Member of the New Zealand Bar Association and a Member of the State Bar of Texas, USA.

Barrister M. Rafiqul Islam Chowdhury is an Advocate of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh and District Court, Chattogram, Bangladesh. He is also a full and active member of the Bangladesh Supreme Court Bar Association and Chittagong District Bar Association. Mr. M. R. I. Chowdhury is also a Certified Notary Public of Bangladesh.

Mr. Chowdhury is the First and Only Bangladeshi Lawyer who achieved the highly prestigious National 'Digital Bangladesh Award 2021' of the Government from the Honourable Prime Minister of Bangladesh for his outstanding contribution as the sole Inventor for the 'Solution of Electronic Document Notarization called "Paperless Notarization" using Notarybd.com Unique Ditial Commerce Platform' and Electronic Notary  (E-Notary) System in Bangladesh.

Barrister Chowdhury also achieved "International Recognition" as an 'Inventor' and "INV" Outstanding Membership of the International Federation of Inventors Association (IFIA) located at Geneva, Switzerland for his Extraordinary Accomplishment. IFIA awarded First Membership to the Nobel Prize Winner in the Year of 1997. This is the first time that a Bangladeshi Lawyer achieved highly prestigious, internationally recognized, acclaimed, and honour as an "Inventor" after the independence of Bangladesh.
