Special Marriage between Foreigners OR between Bangladeshi and Foreigner under The Special Marriage Act, 1872 and Success of U.S. Immigrant Visa
My IR-1 immigrant visa was denied due to only issue regarding the legality and validity of my marriage documents in Bangladesh which I obtained from the Notary Public and Chittagong City Corporation. Later, the Ministry of Law, Justice, and Parliament Affairs of the Bangladesh Government immediately considered his application and appointed and licensed him FIRST and only Registrar in Bangladesh under the Special Marriage Act 1872 to register aforesaid special marriages. He then as the FIRST and only lawful Registrar in Bangladesh registered my marriage as FIRST MARRIAGE under Special Marriage Act 1872. The U.S. Embassy in Dhaka had also been notified on time about his appointment and our valid Marriage. Subsequently, my Marriage Certificate was accepted by the U.S. Embassy in Dhaka, Bangladesh, and finally, my spouse’s Immigrant Visa was issued. I would strongly recommend Barrister M. R. I.
